Board Seat Opening Press Release

A Spring Lake Public Schools School Board seat will be open for applicants starting August 4.  Board member, Katie Pigott, has taken a job opportunity in another state which has demanded
immediacy in her move, creating the vacancy.

As Spring Lake Public Schools looks for a community member to fill the role, there are a few requirements to keep in mind: the candidate must be an eligible voter within the Spring Lake
Public Schools district and must be available for monthly board meetings as well as appointed committee meetings.

All interested parties must submit a letter of interest highlighting their qualifications for being a board member by August 15.

The letters may be submitted by email at dfurton@springlakeschools.org or may be sent/delivered to the central office at 345 Hammond Street in Spring Lake.

Interviews will be held during a special open board meeting on August 22 at 7 p.m.
