PRINCIPAL WELCOME
Dear Families,
As the principal of Spring Lake Intermediate School, I extend a warm welcome to you. Our school is a vital bridge—a place where your child’s journey from childhood to young adulthood is carefully nurtured. Here, we don’t just educate; we empower.
Our Commitments:
-
Academic Excellence: Rigorous academics are at the core of our mission. We challenge students to think critically, collaborate, and explore their passions. Our dedicated teachers foster an environment where curiosity thrives, and growth is both intellectual and personal.
-
Preparation for High School: Spring Lake Intermediate isn’t merely a stepping stone; it’s a launchpad. Your child will develop essential skills, study habits, and resilience—the very tools they’ll carry to Spring Lake Middle School and beyond.
-
Emotional Well-Being: We recognize that education extends beyond textbooks. We have all the resources you need to be able to find your best self. We also focus on fun–fist bumps and Find-It-Fridays and a joke a day!
-
Parent Engagement: You are our partners. Your involvement matters. We invite you to be a part of your child’s educational experience. Together, we create a strong foundation for success.
A Peek into Our World:
-
Our classrooms buzz with curiosity, laughter, and discovery.
-
We believe in high fives, kindness, and the power of encouragement.
-
Your child’s growth—academically, socially, and emotionally—is our priority.
Your Role:
-
Encourage your child’s passions.
-
Attend school events.
-
Celebrate their achievements.
Together, let’s build a bridge that leads to bright futures.

I strive to develop students' hearts as well as their minds. I expect my students to put forth their best efforts and understand that mistakes are proof that they are trying. The students become part of a community of acceptance of differences, where we lift each other up by encouraging one another.
