PRINCIPAL WELCOME

Armey Fun

Welcome to Spring Lake High School!

At Spring Lake High School, we embrace a vibrant community where academic excellence, artistic exploration, and student well-being come together. As Principal Ben Armey, I invite you to discover the heart of our educational journey:

  1. Academic Rigor: Our commitment to academic excellence is unwavering. We foster critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a love for learning. Whether it’s advanced placement courses (we offer 12), innovative partnerships (we hold many seats at our local Careerline Tech Center), or community collaboration (we require 18 volunteer hours to graduate), our students thrive in an environment that challenges and inspires.

  2. Artistic Endeavors: Creativity knows no bounds here. From the brushstrokes on canvas to the harmonies in the music room, our students express themselves through various artistic mediums: band, choir, visual, or dramatic. Our vibrant arts programs encourage self-expression, cultivate talent, and celebrate the beauty of imagination.

  3. Mental Health and Connectivity: We recognize that education extends beyond textbooks. Mental health matters, and we prioritize it. Our counseling services, peer support networks, and mindfulness programs ensure that every student feels seen, heard, and supported. We foster connections—between peers, teachers, and families—because a strong community uplifts us all.

As you explore our website, envision a place where minds expand, creativity flourishes, and hearts connect.

Welcome to Spring Lake High School!

Spring Lake supports each and every one of its students and their individual learning styles. I have pursued an interest in the IB program, but there are many different paths that are offered to students. The faculty supports each individual student's goals and aspirations, and helps them get to the place where they need to be.
