World Languages Club Hosts Welcome Lunch for Exchange Students

World Languages Club Hosts Welcome Lunch for Exchange Students

On September 18th, the World Languages Club hosted a delightful welcome lunch to introduce this year’s exchange students to the entire school. The event, held in Mrs. Valencia's classroom, was the beginning of a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity and international friendship.

Students and staff gathered to meet and greet the five exchange students joining us this year from Germany, Spain, Italy, and Sweden.

The group will gather several times throughout the year, building on their mutual connections.

The World Languages Club, known for its dedication to promoting cultural understanding, organized the event to help the exchange students feel at home and to foster connections within the school community. Throughout the luncheon, students shared what they like best about Spring Lake High School, creating an atmosphere of warmth and inclusivity.

This event marks the beginning of an exciting year of cultural exchange and learning for our school.
