Spring Lake Hosts First-Ever Coaches Clinic to Strengthen Leadership
With a brief break between winter and spring sports, Spring Lake Public Schools took advantage of the opportunity to host its first-ever Coaches Clinic—an event designed to empower and inspire our coaching staff. Spring Lake coaches came together to teach, learn, and grow, focusing on key areas such as communication, expectations, goal-setting, and culture development.
Much like how our teachers collaborate and learn from one another through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), our Athletic Department is fostering a culture where great coaches coach great coaches. By sharing strategies and insights, our coaches are not only enhancing their own skills but also ensuring that our student-athletes benefit from strong, knowledgeable, and supportive leaders.
This inaugural clinic provided a valuable opportunity for coaches to exchange ideas, reflect on best practices, and strengthen the foundation of our athletic programs. When our leaders grow, our athletes thrive—and that’s what being a Laker is all about.
We’re excited to see how this investment in our coaches will continue to positively impact our student-athletes, both on and off the field.
Go Lakers!
