Spring Lake High School Students and Rotary Club Partner for a Special Donation
Last week, Spring Lake High School had the privilege of hosting the Spring Lake Rotary Club for a special meeting on campus. Typically, the Rotary Club meets elsewhere, but this gathering was particularly meaningful as Rotary presented a generous $10,000 check to Corewell Health Foundation West Michigan and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. This donation represents the heart of our community’s commitment to giving back.
What makes this contribution especially remarkable is the involvement of Spring Lake High School’s own INTERACT club, a student-led youth branch of Rotary International. Our INTERACT students worked alongside Rotary members, participating in fundraising activities and demonstrating remarkable teamwork and community spirit. Their dedication played a huge role in making this significant donation possible, and they are an inspiring example of how young people can make a positive impact.
Spring Lake Public Schools is incredibly proud of these students’ efforts and their commitment to service. Their work with the Rotary Club reflects the values we uphold as a school community—service, compassion, and teamwork. Together, our students and Rotary have shown that meaningful change is possible when community members join forces for a worthy cause.
