Spring Lake Celebrates #WorldKindnessDay
Spring Lake Public Schools joined the global celebration of #WorldKindnessDay by encouraging students, staff, and the community to spread kindness and positivity. Holmes Elementary embraced the theme of being the "I" in K_ND, emphasizing that every person has the power to make a difference through small acts of kindness.
Whether through a simple smile, lending a helping hand, or sharing a kind word, the Lakers came together to make their schools and community a brighter place. Our schools regularly share the importance of empathy and compassion, inspiring students to carry these values beyond the school day.
“Kindness is contagious,” Mrs. Smits, Holmes Elementary Principal, shared. “When we show it to others, it multiplies and strengthens our community.”
The celebration serves as a reminder that kindness, in any form, has the power to create positive change. As the Lakers continue to model these values, they are building a culture where everyone feels supported and valued.
Let’s keep the kindness going, Spring Lake! Together, we can make a lasting impact, one kind gesture at a time.
Go Lakers!
