Full-Circle Laker Pride: Seniors Hand Down Tradition to Kindergarteners at Powder Puff Game

One of the most meaningful traditions at Grabinski Stadium returned during halftime of the annual Powder Puff game, offering a powerful visual of the full K-12 journey unfolding on the field.

In a special halftime moment, members of the Class of 2027 met face-to-face with the Class of 2039. The meeting brought together our district’s oldest and youngest learners—one group preparing to conclude their high school careers, and another taking their very first steps into public education.

To mark the occasion, the seniors presented each kindergartener with a pencil as a symbolic token of encouragement. The keepsake serves as a reminder to our youngest Lakers to stay curious, keep writing, and embrace every opportunity to express themselves as they grow.

Moments like this highlight the heart of Laker Nation, showing how our school community connects across generations to guide and support one another from day one to graduation.

Go Lakers!
