All Music is Power (AMP) Rocks Inclusion Week at Spring Lake Public Schools

Spring Lake Public Schools just celebrated Inclusion Week with an unforgettable concert by All Music is Power (AMP). The event was a resounding success, bringing together students and staff for a joyous celebration of music, dance, and inclusivity.

The concert, held at Holmes Elementary in the morning and Jeffers Elementary in the afternoon, was a vibrant display of unity and fun. Students and staff alike took to the dance floor, moving to the beat and enjoying the lively atmosphere. The energy was palpable as everyone came together to celebrate the spirit of inclusion. After all, inclusion means everyone is invited to the dance floor!

A special thank you goes out to the Spring Lake Rotary Club, Tri-Cities Kiwanis, Holmes Parents’ Club, and Jeffers Parents’ Organization. Their generous financial support made this event possible, ensuring that all students could participate in this memorable experience.

All Music is Power (AMP) is known for their interactive musical experiences that cater to students of all abilities. Their mission is to use the power of music to bring people together, and they certainly achieved that during Inclusion Week. All students were welcome to dance, welcome to beat on the drum, welcome to shake noise makers.

Spring Lake Public Schools is proud to host events like these that promote inclusivity and celebrate the diverse talents and abilities of our students. People are different, certainly. We appreciate those differences and come together around them.

We look forward to more opportunities to come together as a community and create lasting memories like AMP gave us today.

Keep dancing and celebrating inclusion, Spring Lake!
