A Heartwarming Tribute: Jeffers Elementary School's Veterans Day Concert
If you were looking for a heartwarming experience, you didn't need to look any further than Jeffers Elementary School, where students recently hosted their Veterans Day concert. This annual event is a heartfelt celebration, as students come together to honor our nation’s veterans with words, music, and pride. Additionally, the concert acts as a fundraiser, giving donated funds to Folds of Honor's scholarship programming. This year, the concert raised $678.11.
Through moving speeches, patriotic songs, and a joyful display of bells, the young performers expressed their gratitude to the men and women who have served in the Armed Forces. This year’s concert was no exception—it filled the room with admiration and respect, as students shared messages of appreciation with some very special guests: veterans from our own community.
Though Veterans Day is still a week away, we at Spring Lake Public Schools believe that honoring our veterans is something to be done every day. Our students are proud to recognize the sacrifices and dedication of these heroes, and we extend our thanks to all veterans for their service.
The Jeffers Elementary Veterans Day concert reminds us of the importance of appreciation, and we’re proud of our students for capturing this spirit so beautifully.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in this celebration!
