Permission Form and Record Update for Returning Students (Required)
SLPS requires a parent/guardian to submit an annual permission form for each returning student. This form is now available in the SL PowerSchool parent portal. (not available in the PowerSchool app)
- Login to SL PowerSchool with your Parent Account
- Click your student’s name within the blue bar at the top
- Click the Forms option on the left navigation menu
- Click the Permissions and Annual Review form link, make selections and Submit the form
- Repeat this process for any other returning students (return to step 2)

Transportation Registration Form
If a student is planning to ride the bus at any time during the upcoming school year, a parent/guardian must register the student with the Transportation Department.

Food Service Account & Free and Reduced Meals Application
Use lunchapp.com to apply for meal benefits for the 2020-21 school year.
Use sendmoneytoschool.com to check your student’s lunch balance and charges. You can also deposit additional funds.

Class Lists / Schedules
Holmes Elementary – There is currently no ETA for the release of class lists. Updates will be posted here as soon as they are available.
Jeffers Elementary – There is currently no ETA for the release of class lists. Updates will be posted here as soon as they are available.
Intermediate School – Parents will receive a welcome email from their student’s assigned teacher mid-August.
Middle School – Schedules will be released and available at MS Kick Start. MS Kick Start is set for Friday, August 21..
High School – Schedules will be released and available at HS Smart Start. HS Smart Start is set for Friday, August 21.

Intermediate School – Parents will receive a welcome email from their student’s assigned teacher mid-August. The teacher will provide list of required supplies.

Community Child Care
Spring Lake Community Child Care Program provides quality care for school aged children in Kindergarten through sixth grade and is available every school day. After school care will begin Tuesday, August 25, 2020, and before school care will begin Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

HS Parking Permit Application
Students who are planning to drive to school must fill out a parking permit application and submit it to the High School office.
If a student is planning to drive to school in a different vehicle from last year, a new parking permit application must be submitted to the High School office.
If an application was completed in a previous school year, and the student vehicle has not changed, no additional application is needed for the upcoming school year.
