Student Supply Lists

Holmes Elementary Supply Lists are listed below.  Please label all supplies with your child’s name.

4th Grade  
• 2 hardcover composition notebooks ( 9 ¾ x 7 ½” – at least 80 pages)  
• a large box of Kleenex (to be shared with class)  
• a package of pencils  
• a pair of scissors  
• glue sticks  
• a small pencil sharpener  
• a package of colored pencils  
• a package of crayons  
• a highlighter  
• small sticky notes (square, light-colored, plain) 
• dry erase marker (fine tip – not black) and a sock to use as an eraser  
   
Optional:  stapler, markers, scotch tape, erasers  
Desk space is limited – you will NOT need to bring in binders and folders – all necessary folders will be provided.  
 
3rd Grade  
• a pair of scissors  
• a box of crayons  
• a box of colored pencils  
• 24 sharpened pencils  
• 4 dry erase markers  
• glue sticks (6 large or 12 small)  
• a sock to be used as a whiteboard eraser or a whiteboard eraser  
• a small enclosed pencil sharpener  
• a hardcover composition notebook ( 9 ¾ x 7 ½” – at least 80 pages)  
• a large box of Kleenex (to be shared with the class)  
• a 3x3 pad of post-it notes (light-colored, plain) 
   
2nd Grade   
• markers (any kind)                                      
• crayons (any size)  
• orange highlighter  
• (1 dozen) sharpened pencils  
• (4) Expo dry erase markers (any color)                                                       
• large glue sticks or (6) small                           
• two-pocket folder (to keep work organized in desk)  
• Composition notebook (non-wire, wide ruled if possible, and 70 pages or more)  
• 3x3 pad of Post It Notes (any color)  
• sock to be used as a white-board eraser or a white-board eraser   
• box of Kleenex  
• of the following:  1 box of band-aids  OR  gallon sized Ziplocs  OR  sandwich sized Ziplocs    
• personal pencil sharpener (enclosed – collects shavings)

• Last Names A-F:  1 box of gallon size Ziploc bags 
• Last Names G-J:  1 pkg. of paper lunch bag 
• Last names K-P: 1 box of quart-sized Ziploc bags  
• Last names Q-Z:  1 pack 3 x 3 post-it notes  
• 8 black dry erase markers, chisel tip  
• 1 box of Kleenex  
   
Kindergarten  
• Backpack

Young Fives

• 8 glue sticks (not the Meijer brand- they dry up too quickly)  
• a box of 24 crayons (to add to classroom collection) 
• 1 box of washable markers (8 pack)  
AM:  
• 1 box of graham crackers (for those who forget snack)  
• 1 box of baby wipes or refill pack  
   
 PM:     
• Ziploc bags (one of either sandwich, gallon, or 2 gallon size) 
• One box of Kleenex
